  • Gowanus - Experimental Rock
Gowanus is an experimental rock quartet that has its origins in the neighborhood surrounding the toxic Brooklyn waterway that shares its name. Using traditional analog instrumentation in combination with digital effects and sampling, the group creates a unique sound that infuses elements of jam-based improvisation, electro-funk and straight up the middle, American rock 'n roll.
  • Tattoo Money - ndie Boom Box Pop Rock
Being in a relationship during your late teens through your early 20s, then without warning, all of a sudden finding yourself single is akin to a lion. A lion that spends his entire youth in a zoo, then, in the blink of an eye, is let off into the wild. You don't know why, or what, or anything. You're disoriented, confused. And you ask yourself what to do next?! You've spent your entire waking life, your formative time, being hand fed, while the rest of your pack was out hunting. All you want to do is go back to the zoo, go back to the relationship, because its cold out here in this concrete jungle. Man up, kiddo.

  • Ammunition - Rock/Hard Rock/Metal
Formed as the band Gunpowder in 2010, Bogner, Johnson and Palilonis were core members, the three having previously met playing in a local heavy-metal outfit. Various early lineup changes saw the departure of Ty Asoudegan, now of Philadelphia rock act Mach22, and Lucas Rinz, now of Satellite Hearts. With Stefan assuming sole guitar responsibilities, and the drafting of Rick Anthes, (a former bandmate of Spencer's in the local heavy-metal scene), on bass. This is Ammunition.
  • Sicmonic - Modern Metal
The sound that has emerged from this process has surpassed the traditional Metal/Hard Rock sound and forged a new blend of emotion, human experience, and trials and tribulations that make up everyday life. Using many influences ranging from jazz fusion to death metal to create a chaotic yet catchy backdrop, sicmonic's lyrics lay down a wide variety of topics that lead the listener down a path that spirals out of control and ultimately leads the participant into a new understanding of music. That combination of lyrical insanity, catchy grooves, and maniacal musicianship, was captured on their 2006 self-released debut album "Look to the Skies".
  • Plastiq Passion - Post-Punk/New Wave
The members of Plastiq (pronounced Plas-stick) Passion saw an opportunity to take an older genre near and dear to their hearts (new wave) and add to it a modern edge (a la Sleater-Kinney). Add a little blood, sweat and tears and from the fires Plastiq Passion was born, a band with a clear vision to make the music that they would want to hear: polished and heart-felt songs blending the sounds of yesterday with the sounds of today.
