    Boardwalk Isabella is the alter ego of independent English rock funk artist and Singer Songwriter, James C Hughes, former New Wave bassist with the likes of The Banned, Cowboys International, The Original Mirrors, Department S, and session man who has played either with or alongside some of the great names of the music business including Mick Jagger, Jeff Beck, Omar Hakim, Stevie Wonder band's Greg Phillinganes, Cameo, Terry Chimes from The Clash, Alan Wilder of Depeche Mode, Billy Curry of The Cult, Latoyah Jackson and many more.

    Throne of Eden craftily makes use of the style they cut their teeth to. Combining the intricate riff work of "classic" metalcore, as well as theatrical songwriting with bursts of orchestral instrumentation and progressive metal stylings, they hope to bring forth a sound unique to the modern rock and metal scene with their upcoming debut album.

His aspirations lay in one day becoming a musical influence as did his hero Frank Zappa. His past has laid a foundation that creates his unique style. When asked about influences he says," The Beatles, Beck, Berry, Stravinsky and Mozart,these are just a few, I believe that the musical quality of the harmony of nature abounds and begs to be interpreted, this is my inspiration."
